Royal Children's Hospital - Good Friday Appeal

Wodonga CFA is very proud to join forces with Wodonga Lions Club every year and take part in the Royal Childrens Hospital Good Friday Appeal.

The day always begins with Hot Cross Buns and a briefing at the Wodonga Fire Station and then volunteers from all local Fire Brigades, The Wodonga SES and The Army Fire Service (Bandiana) walk the streets of Wodonga collecting money to support the vital services provided at the Royal Children's Hospital in Melbourne.

In 2016 we collected $70578.85 in donations from the local community, contributing to the overall total of $17,445,624.38

Albury Wodonga Christmas Party for Special Children

The Albury Wodonga Christmas Party for Special Children is held every December. Volunteers from the Wodongaand Leneva Fire Brigades attend every year, delivering Santa with lights and sirens on our Pumper/Tanker and by handing out presents to children with disabilities from the local area. Gifts are donated by local businesses. Every year there are over 1000 children attending this party and the Wodonga Fire Brigade is very proud to be associated with this annual event.
