Brigade

Wodonga CFAWodonga Urban Fire Brigade is an integrated Country Fire Authority (CFA) brigade made up of approximately 60 volunteers from various walks of life, including students, trades people and professionals. We also have a compliment of 16 career firefighters appointed by the CFA. The Brigade Management Team consists of officers, who are elected by the brigade members every two years, and a Brigade Support Officer who is appointed by the CFA.

The station is located at 1 Smythe Street, Wodonga and is manned 24 hours a day by career and volunteer firefighters who provide fire protection and supression services to the local community.

The first fire appliance is required to respond within 90 seconds of the brigade being notified of an incident.

Wodonga Urban Fire Brigade is a member of the Wodonga Brigades Group, which comprises four brigades who regularly provide operational support to one another. The Wodonga Group includes Leneva, Baranduda, Bonegilla and Wodonga West Fire Brigades.

The Brigade meets on Thursday nights at the station from 7:30pm. We hold our business meeting is on the 1st Thursday of the month and training on all other weeks.
